Every two years North Haven School participates in the National Story Dance Competition known as Wakakirri held at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
Wakakirri is Australia’s largest national story sharing arts festival that challenges primary school students to make a positive impact on the world around them. Students in years 3 – 7 can choose if they would like to be a part of this exciting event. By being a part of this team, students are able to share their talents in many ways. This may be dancing, acting, preparing props and set designs or helping backstage.
Our 2017 Story Dance item was titled ‘The Lion Parties Tonight’ and showcased a fun, vibrant dance in the African Jungle!
