Welcome to North Haven School

At North Haven School, we are passionate about creating a learning environment where every child feels safe, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.

We know that student well-being plays a crucial role in learning, which is why we embed programs that help students develop confidence, resilience, and a love for learning. From The Resilience Project and What’s the Buzz? social skills program to Passion Projects and our Soccer Academy, we ensure our students have opportunities to grow emotionally, socially, and academically. We also support students with co-regulation strategies, providing dedicated spaces such as The Nest and The Interoception Room to help them manage their emotions in a safe and supportive way.

Our engaging curriculum is guided by both the Australian Curriculum and the SA Curriculum, ensuring that students receive a high-quality education that meets national and state standards. Our teachers use evidence-based teaching strategies to create engaging lessons that cater to different learning styles, helping every student succeed. In addition to core subjects, we offer four specialist programs—Physical Education, Japanese, The Arts, and Health—allowing students to develop skills beyond the classroom and explore a variety of interests. Our large, well-equipped classrooms provide a comfortable and flexible learning environment where students can thrive.

At North Haven School, we believe learning should extend beyond the classroom. That’s why we take pride in offering a wide range of extra-curricular activities that allow students to develop their talents and showcase their creativity. Whether it's participating in choir, the Festival of Music, Wakakirri, North Haven’s Got Talent, or other exciting programs, our students have opportunities to build confidence, work as a team, and experience the joy of performing. These activities help foster a strong sense of community and belonging within our school.

North Haven School is located on the Le Fevre Peninsula nestled in close proximity to the Port River and the western beaches of Adelaide. The suburb’s port location has attracted a like-minded community of sea-lovers from across the state. Situated along the suburb’s western coast is the Surf Lifesaving Club and the Gulf Point Marina, home to a large sailing community and one of Adelaide’s largest Yacht clubs.
